Zero Break Design is pleased to announce that development of its first full game project is well underway. Mystic Advent is the first in a planned trilogy of divine crisis resolutions and the first complete game package to use the expertise that has been developed with utilizing the entire RPG Maker MV toolset. This project has been the works for just over two years under the development code name of Spectrum's Path (in part because the creator of Zero Break Design also identifies as such, and which is also why the Zero Break Game Design logo employs the use of a jigsaw quadrant which itself has been derived in part from the fact that the symbol is also the universally-accepted mark of the spectrum itself).
The current plan for rolling out this ambitious project is for an early access release - with so much of the project already planned out, the prospect of testing it all for concurrent launch is going to be a real pain in the backside making it more feasible to roll this out in chunks instead of all at once. The project itself will employ a combination of classic elements from Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest, along with Overwatch-inspired, potential-charged and game-changing Advent Specials that can turn a difficult challenge to your advantage. Combined with a whole host of design provisions that I have referenced straight from the divine record itself and a narrative that leaves no roles unfinished - seriously, the usual case of silent guidance, actions-say-all leadership does not apply to this adventure (well, maybe one such leadership, but even she has a workaround for that!) it is the goal of this project to create a tale of action and inspiration upon the face of a dark, evil threat. In the case of Mystic Advent, it is a tale set in the near future at generation code 24XX where all that is known connects to a sacred construct which is captured by the dark forces and subsequently turned against the very fabric of existence itself. These actions will then force the intervention of ten specialized individuals to rise up on very short notice before the actions of the evil threat can force events that will cause the entire universe to basically implode upon itself.
